Dumpster Diving
Lens: DA35 Limited Camera: K-x
Posted By: nate_b, 10-20-2011, 01:52 AM

Over the past few days I've undertaken the daunting task of organizing all of the photo files on my computer. To make the process more tolerable, I have indulged in "dumpster diving" for previously taken photos that have been overlooked and can be redeemed from the trash heap. For your viewing pleasure (or displeasure), here are some of those images rescued from obscurity for a brief moment of glory on this forum:

[ The Valley of Shadow and Depth ]

[ c a r e f r e e]

[ Autumn Rain ]

[ 1808 ]

[ All in a Day's Work ]

[ Crazy Love ]

[ Beach Access ]

[ You're Growing on Me ]

[ Choose Your Own Adventure ]

[ Purple Mountains Majesty ]

[ Canyonlands ]

[ Barrier ]

[ Deciduous Dusk ]

[ First Frost ]

[ Skid Row ]

[ Where the Ocean Meets the Sky ]

[ Rocky Mountain High ]

[ Color Coordinated ]

[ Shadow Leaf ]

[ Partly Sunny ]

[ Go West, Unmanned ]

[ Bowing Bison ]

[ Fields of Gold ]

I certainly glad you didn't pitch these, Nate. I especially like the rain-covered leaf, but there's lots of cool stuff here.

Ditto on not pitching these. You have a fun and creative eye. Some of these are very well spotted and others are just simply beautiful.

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for looking and commenting, Jer. Glad I could "rescue" these photos as well. I'd love to see what you might find in your files doing the same.

Best,
Nate

Dang, your dumpster is full of much nicer "stuff" than mine...

Those are some really great shots, thanks for sharing them! I would have a hard time picking out a favorite, but the moss(?) on the tree trunk would likely be it...

Thank you, Dice. I'm glad I had a chance to rummage through and pull out some keepers.

Best,
