20 Rhinos ...
Lens: DA18-250mm Camera: K-7 Photo Location: Mt Cootha
Posted By: hcc, 10-21-2011, 12:16 AM

On 21 October, a light of 20 Super Hornets flew above the City of Brisbane (Australia). View from Mt Cootha. The lighting conditions were not optimum but there were plenty of people watching the flight.

View from Mt Cootha. Photoagrphs with DA18-250mm at 250mm. Minimum PP with PDCU 4.33 & cropping.

The F/A 18 F in use in the RAAF is knicknamed Rhino. It replaced the F111 in use until 2010.

It's a shame about the lighting conditions, it is very frustrating isn't it? A least you have captured the large formation of aircraft there.
