I am not sure if it is just my monitor but I see some pretty sever horizontal banding in this picture. Does anyone else see it? It is actually almost grid-like - especially in the green areas.

(I get the same results using my company laptop. Looks weird, man.)

Now that you point it out I see it also. Almost like a narrow cross hatch of the pixils.

I like old barn pictures. A close up of some of the wood/paint is always a good one for me.

I se it as well, I'm wondering if Robert had to remove some power lines.

I had the same sort of thing happen with one of my pictures a few weeks back.
A couple of members could see some variance in the un-processed sky and thought I had edited it past the limits.

I think that it was just a freak occurrence, and this might be with your picture as well

Old barns are just like old abandoned automobiles, theres just some thing photogenic about them. I think that banding thing has more to do with compression of your photo. Ive had several jpegs that have done that specifically with repetitive elements in the frame. Keep them coming mate.

Banding lines in the pic

It might be that this is an artifact that only shows up in the smaller compressed image here for some reason and not on your original larger file. But I highlighted a few of the bands that I can easily see in the shot but there are many more. It's very easy to see them if you enlarge it more. Unusual and I've not noticed this in any of my pics before although I did once have a shot with a distinct vertical black line about 4 pixels wide from top to bottom. It only happened once in the several 1000 shots taken with my camera since it was new.

BTW I love the subject and the shot. I do find it's a touch over exposed though and could use a little more colour and contrast.
