Just a quick snap with the K10D and DA 14mm 2.8. Chaya got a brand new coat and wanted to show it off!

Right... everyone's heard the old adage... the nostrils are the windows to the soul...

Ive seen really cool pictures of animals with the focus on the nose, but they`ve had the head pointing directly towards the camera, that can give a really cool/nice effect.

oh... it's my nature to be a smart ass sometimes. It comes so naturally LOL. I wasn't offended. Sometimes my humor doesn't always carry across well through the forums, so the apologies are all mine. I should have explained that it was simply my intention to focus on the eyes in this particular shot. With a moving dog, that's not always an easy task! I had her jumping around for 15 minutes! ha!

Here's an old shot where the nose was definitely the focus and made the shot.

No hard feelings... I really enjoy your presence on the boards and I have a deep respect for your photography. Let's keep on sharing and helping to improve one another's work!

Well, after all that discussion, here's one where the nose is also fairly in focus.
