Bayards Cove
Lens: Sigma 10-20mm Camera: K5 Photo Location: Bayards Cove, Devon

These shots, taken mostly in Dartmouth, were from my holiday last week.

This is Bayards Cove in Dartmouth. The Speedwell, carrying the Pilgrim Fathers, sailed from here on their way to the New World.

Another view of Bayards Cove.

The plaque commemorating the departure of the Pilgrim Fathers, from Bayards Cove, on the Speedwell.

These are wonderful photos - particularly the first one (to my eye). These shots have a . . . . texture (for lack of a better word). . . . . that I find compelling.

Thanks Jer.
I know the sun is burnt out in #'s 1 & 2 but I really like them. I took them, just before heading to Cafe Alf Resco (go there if you're ever in Dartmouth. 7am ti 2pm, crowded but superb!) and I knew what I wanted out of the shots.
I used Topaz Adjust a lot and I just knew that it would work on this sort of scene; the last one is a 3 shot HDR.
