First one doesn't work for me because of the first- but the next two are nice, especially the second. The third has a somewhat spooky look to it

I agree. I like the second and third, not as crazy about the perspective on the first one.

Thanks, Dan. I like dead treas - something surreal and evocative about them (but in defense, the first one was taken by the missus!)

(the third one is an oldie taken by Sigma SD9 as I recall and heavily photoshopped to bring out the sky and the detail in the tree).
