Some macro shots I took this summer. All with the K-r and the good old M50 f1.7 with macro extension rings:

Wow, great stuff! What are you using for flash? You're making me feel foolish for buying a dedicated macro lens.

I use the build-in-flash with a home made flash-tube, made from a Pringles canister

Painted the canister black and used foam sheet on the front, how much depands a little on the thickness of the foam and how hard your flash is.
Place it over the pop-up flash and use a rubber band to keep it in place. It's very low-budget, but hey, it works

!
