Let us see your neighborhood today
Posted By: LaRee, 12-13-2007, 10:52 PM

I snapped this pic when I was out and about today. It was a beautiful day here in San Diego on December 13, 2007. Let us see what is it like where you live this week.

We have Utah USA, we have Melbourne.. Australia and San Diego USA. Thank you both for posting. I enjoyed seeing your neigborhoods. Funny how much Melborne Australia is similar to San Diego, California.
I hope more folks take a bit of time to show us what it is like in their neck-o-the-woods!

Here's my neighborhood today. The rock formation at the top is called here "Rimrocks." That was the level of the prehistoric inland sea.

another northern scene

I played hooky on Monday, Tuesday and Friday afternoons and went cross-country skiing. Sackville, a town of about 5000, has about 15 km of groomed xc ski trails in a municipal park. Pretty good for a small town! There are also a bunch of un-groomed trails in the water supply area, and other nearby lands. One of the benefits to being a grad student, if my guilt level can handle it I can take time off whenever I like. This is what one of the groomed trails looked like on Tuesday. Of course we're getting a storm this evening that is due to turn to rain tomorrow!

Wal', boy you have it really rough in the view department. Too bad you don't have a more picturesque view from your home.
