Very nice.

I wish you had a NGrad filter for the sky in order to lighten up the dock. I have to get one of these some day....

A little PP could bring out the dock. Overall though, this is a fantastic shot!

Thanks for the feedback.

To be honest I have a couple of ND grads but chose not to use them - personally I don't think the shot would look balanced if the Pier was any lighter, the posted shot isn't too far off how the scene looked

I think I like the first picture the best and just the way you submitted it. It looks like you got up real early to take these and the images support this. Very nice.

Two nice photos, Simon, but that first composition is a real winner.

I would have been curious to try a graduated ND; but doubtful it would have improved a fine shot. Doesn't look like there's a lot of grain in the timber, mostly saw marks.
