Homeless Man #7. As I approached the Old Market on my bike, I saw a Homeless Man walking, with his back turned. I decided to approach him. I slowed down and said kindly, "Scuse me Sir". When he turned around I was shocked, but tried not to act as such. Naturally, I asked him what happened. John is an "Alcoholic". He stopped drinking and the withdrawl caused him to have a seizure which made him fall and hit his head. This was just over an hour after he was released from the hospital. He was still wearing the blood soaked sweater he had the fall in. I still wanted to take the picture, but was conscious of being compassionate at the same time. I asked anyways and he patiently agreed.

That last picture completes the set. Otherwise one would think you have only eye for the beautiful young women...

I always enjoy your random people threads, but don't often comment. You did very well asking the homeless man for a portrait. It's a pretty brave thing you did and I think it was worth it.

that homeless guy shot its amazing. it makes me sad. :-(

The shots are really good but the homeless man touches my heart. Images are meant to evoke something in us and this one does me. Thanks!
