Wow, fantastic capture! Where exactly did you take this shot? Closer up north?

Wow wow wow... an amazing photo, such beauty in the lighting and I love the layering with the hills in the background, rainstorm in the middle and the grasses and shadow in the foreground. Very effective and beautiful.

Lori, it was sort of a drab day and we were just sitting down for supper and the sun finally poked through and lit the landscape, so I rushed outside and took a couple of shots. thanks for looking Bob

Funny how those great sunsets often come after a drab day... great shot.

Great capture Bob.
I'm glad I was able to see that area for the first time last summer (family vacation to the Grand Canyon and surrounding "stuff") - or I'd have to think you might be pp'ing some of these shots. It's an amazing part of our country, and you're showing it off rather nicely.

(I wouldn't have believed that the skies could look like they go on forever - as in your "backyard" shot - if I hadn't seen it for myself!)

Thanks for sharing, and keep 'em coming,

Tim

It's a great shot Bob and way to wait it out - you have proven there is a shot a day at least no matter where you are at.
