First shot on IR-modified K-7
Lens: Tamron 17-50mm Camera: IR-modified K-7 Photo Location: Hampshire,UK ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F3.5

Having brutally converted a K-7 yesterday to be IR-capable, I had a chance today to take a few test shots. Long story, but at the moment the sensor suspension isn't physically connected so the sensor drops to its rest position, such that it is at the edge of the image circle for the lens. But as it happens I like the vignette effect...

Fantastic photo- doesn't look like much of an IR shot, though!

Now I'm wondering what makes a shot an IR shot...

To be honest, a lot of the time I use IR-modified cameras just as black & white cameras - the IR glow from foliage is a bonus. In this one the shadows are a lot stronger since they don't have any IR, while the grass has a 'frost-like' look.

I did put it in the Black & White section

This is one cool photo - IR or otherwise. Great job.
