Last persimmon on the tree.

As I sit here and think about it, I realize that I've known lots of people like this. I bet you have too.

they are very tasty, IF you get them at the right time, lol, they grow here in Missouri too

That particular persimmon....no. It has totally rotted and mostly liquified in its own skin.

But as Stratman says, persimmons at the right time are very tasty. Not at all sour. They have a very pleasant mildly sweet flavor and a great texture.
