A good combo, early morning light and the 77 ltd
Posted By: NaClH2O, 12-16-2007, 05:34 PM

Still processing stuff from this summer/early fall. Shot of the conservatory at the New York Botanical Gardens. Taken about 7:40 on an early September morning. DS 77mm ltd. f11 @1/350. C&C appreciated as usual

I like this one. The lines pull you in. My only nit (just me and my nits often make no sence to others ) Maybe crop a bit more from the top. I bet today that same building is up the windows in snow.

Good light indeed. You sound like you have a backlog of photos to go through just like I do. I was browsing through looking for something by keyword in Lightroom yesterday and saw all kinds of cool stuff I'd even forgot that I had! So many photos, so little time.

Thanks Pat, I was debating about so much sky myself...the sky dude won . I'll try it with a closer crop at the top and see how it goes. As far as snow is concerned we lucked out a bit on this one, we had about 4" on the ground when it turned to rain so those windows probably have about a 2" coating of slush if that. But all the summer white wash is off of them. It takes 4 guys in two bucket trucks to wash it all off.

I can feel you pain LaRee, and I can certainly identify. I haven't made a count but I'm sure it's well over a thousand. That's just shots not processed. Then I have to sort and decide which ones to upload. I'm severly missing last year's 40 minute daily commute...now I spend 4 hrs a day on the train...severely cuts into my photo time.

Great composition and the patterns are intriguing.

That reminds me to take out my 77mm for a run some time
