Every year, Lake Jackson kicks off the holiday season with its Festival of Lights carnaval and parade, the latter of which we attended since our granddaughter was riding on a float (too dim, unfortunately, to photograph). Here are some pics I grabbed from the event. All were shot hand held, generally at ISO 3200 with problematicly slow shutter speeds even given the plodding rate of a parade. Still, I think the shots capture the mood of a small-town parade on a balmy (77 F) November evening.
