Large Critters
Lens: Sigma 28-80 Camera: k 7 Photo Location: Pheonix

These very large critters are hand carved and placed in various places around the Desert Botanical Garden. The mantis is about 10 ft tall, daddy long legs is about 8 ft tall, the assassin bug about 4 ft tall and a spider and web about 8 X 8 ft. There a total of 11 of these critters in the garden and created by David Rogers and weigh 300 to 12,00 lbs. Enjoy. Cliff

Very nice! Similar critters used to reside at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, NE.. The praying mantis was my favorite...
