Thought I would post some photos taken with the Vivitar 85mm 1.4 (listing in marketplace for sale). This lens is a really really good piece...

Awesome pics Joe. Very crisp, great colors and a perfect job in PP. I don't think any of these pics could be done any better! I'm surprised your selling this lens.

Love the clarity and colors you captured here Joe, that lens is a great combo with the K-5 and good photography on your part, take care. Bob

Thanks Adam, Tracy, Bob.

Most of these were shot with a VS1 ND8 Filter atop the lens with no loss in IQ (from what I can tell) which makes this lens even that much more impressive. I may put the sale of the lens on hold until I can get out in DC with the 50~135, get out there and take some comparison shots (maybe I will get lucky and find another super hottie like the one in photo 1 ) to compare the photos and see if I can produce near or like results - if I can produce equal shots I will sell it, if I can't I will hang on to it ...

Thanks Rupert - looking forward to some more "Otis Shots" soon...

I had this lens up for sale, after shooting with it today I can't sell this lens - I mean, what a great lens to have! Here are the shots with this lens from today:
