Actually I'm not a landscape shooter, but I could not resist and photographed this dead-wood.

That is a wonderful shot. Never resist the urge to shoot. I am slowly coming to that realization myself.

The B&W adds a mysterious side to the tree and photo.

very nice shot mate.well done ... me personally i would UMP the contrast a bit and take away a bit of the detail away from the tree... almost a silouette if you get what i mean? heres an example.. i hope you dont mind.... it gives it a more sinister look, but that might not be the look you where going for..

This is a great looking image....I couldn't have resisted either.....and the b&w conversion works really very well.

I know after reading on this form of the cool pictures taken on the spur of the monment, I carry around my camera more frequently. Very nice picture, I love the shape of the tree.
