Partial Solar Ecipse · 10:32 AM

Partial solar eclipse Nov 25,visible only from central and southern NZ,Tasmania,tip of Sth Africa and Antarctica. Shot in gale force winds at a beach about 5 mins before sunset. Conditions very hazy with airborne salt spray and sand. Lens set to 300mm.

Very unique and well captured especially with all of the negative conditions surrounding you. The sun setting into the unevenness of the clouds and an eclipse makes this a special photo. thanks for sharing. Bob

I first saw this on SpaceWeather.com -- News and information about meteor showers, solar flares, auroras, and near-Earth asteroids then clicked over here and saw it was a PF user. Great capture.
