(aka prickly pear cactus)

A few keepers from a recent trip to Torrey Pines State Park near San Diego. Had to go off trail and suffer the withering scorn of the park docent to get the cactus shot! The resulting image was worth the embarrassment (mostly felt by the long-suffering girlfriend).
