Great shots...., I have to ask... what is it like carrying those lenses around? You need to post in our photogroaphers and photos thread so we can get a handle on the logistics..

I personally don't have any problems carrying the Sigma 300mm and 500mm [I only take one out at a time] lenses around. I nearly always use a Gitzo 1348 tripod with a Benro GH-2 gimbal head so carry that as well.
I think having a sturdy platform is really the only way to prevent soft images.
I also use a cable release
