Bed of candies
Posted By: pentagor, 12-19-2007, 02:24 AM

This is my yesterday's attempt to make use of some statuettes we have on our cabinet back home.

Shot with K100D, Pentax DA 18-55 [KIT], 100% crop.
Some photoshop WB adjustements, since it was show in RAW and some levels and contrast adjustements.
Comments are welcome.

EXIF:
focal l.=55mm
f/9.5
2 sec
ISO 200

Very nice work - EXCELLENT DOF and I know that's never too easy.

It is a very good shot especially considering the shot is cropped that much. Since you're using some sort of camera support you might want to increase the DOF a bit more and adjust the aperture to f11 or 16 and see how that looks. I bet you can have everything in sharp focus that way. Regardless it's a good shot and I like the lighting and black background as well.

Starting a job as a product shooter?? Lol

Thanks! Yes I'll try with aperture of 1/11 or 1/16.
