a balmy 24'C (75'F) Friday evening in Melbourne, dropped off the "trouble & strife" at the Hilton for her work Christmas function which is right next to the Botanical gardens, so I got in a few shots before losing the light.

CC, I really like the color in the last shot, nice DOF. Trouble and Strife at Christmas, how can that be, it is a joyous time...right?

Cee Cee, these are vibrant and warm. We can entertain each other with images of opposite seasons! I am now missing my garden, lovely flowers shots... and the first duck is so sweet looking, the second has such interesting markings and I love the way the reflections and swirls in the water encircle the bird. very nice! thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for the comments Bob, ... of course no real trouble & strife, but we'll have a house full of relatives here for Christmas dinner (it's our turn) so there's still a bit of potential for things to develop.

cheers
CC.

thanks for your "warm" comments tess, I don't know that I could keep up the pace with summer shots, (I don't get out much) but I'll see what I can do. There isn't all that much of interest in the Northen suburbs of Melbourne, most of the interesting stuff requires some driving and planing ahead, but I hope to get in a few outings over the holiday period.

cheers
CC.

Lovely shots, Cee Cee! I really love the last one especially. I look forward to the arrival of spring here ... in about four months!

thanks China,

("China" short for "China plate" = mate)

may be I shouldn't have started this, I don't use this a lot but a few instances have crept into my normal vocabulary

Nice excursion you've exploited photographically here Cee Cee.
Tough getting focus right with that lens.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
