Recently had the chance to get in some studio practice at a local Pro-Am studio. This was the first time I have actually worked with "models" since college and man was it a kick. I'll definately be going to more of their shoots. They provide the models, props, lights and Pocket Wizards. All you have to do is bring your camera, lenses and $60 for 4 hours of shooting. These are TFCD (Time for CD) shoots so you also provide a CD to the models of their shots for restricted use in their portfolios.

This is just one of the shots which I really liked. Echoe, the model, was great to work with.

Alan, Its up here in northern VA a couple of miles north of Dulles Airport. This shoot was $60 for the whole evening and there were 5-6 photographers counting the studio owners and there were 3 models. Pretty good deal and a low pressure way to get some studio experience.
