Lamp and a Chair
Lens: DA 35 Limited Camera: K-5 Photo Location: West Columbia, TX ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F2.8

I grabbed this shot while on a holiday tour of a local antebellum mansion. The light is distracting and I almost dumped the file, but upon a second glance I decided to hang on to it. I used the spot meter on the chair for this exposure.

I like this Jer and the light makes this shot work well.I notice the stare light hitting the small table where Ben Franklin(Lookalike) is and to me it feels like a spirit is hoovering about TFS

That it is buddy - the chair would look even more comfortable with a can of beer on the table .

Hey, thanks for looking, Capn. You know, I had a similar thought when I gazed in the room.

Thanks much, Ivan. I ashamed to admit it, but I didn't notice this flare (?) until you mentioned it . But I like your idea - it's a hovering spirit: that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
