Misc Took the family to NYC today

Took the family to NYC today · **2 Likes**

First we took the kids to Macy's on 34th St to see Santa, then made a quick visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and i was able to grab a few snaps with the trusty dusty K100D and an old M28 on full manual.

An inverted bronze in a stairwell:

Hey, Thanks! The ONLY advice I can give is to practice as much as you can and look at what other folks around here have done; there are so many talented people here! I have also found that fitting the camera with an old manual lens help me learn. FWIW, I don't think that I have any talent at all, but I'm certainly gaining ability and starting to get a reasonable grasp on the basics.
