Misc Former Nike missile site

Across the road is one of two former Nike missile sites in the area. It is now a park and civic center.

Some areas are still restricted.

This area is used for RC planes and helicopters.

Rain clouds brewing.

Bunker area.

Fort MacArthur, not far away, has/had a yearly walking tour, which included a trip into the bunker under what is now the Freedom Bell at Pt. Fermin.

When you are in Wall, South Dakota, 90 minutes east of Mt Rushmore, you can do the first-come first-served Minuteman Missile Museum - I think the only one of its kind left.
