Hardly the kind of scene people associate with the holidays, but typical of the pseudo autumn look of our area in late December. I shot this image to celebrate the first long, extended rain we've had in months - a Christmas gift of its own.

really happy the clouds have been kind to you and yours in the lone star state jer... been following the drought on the national news... love those late fall colors.... dave m

finally you are getting some rain for that parched state, my buddy in Johnson City said it was a terrible summer and they had gotten rain also. Wet leaves, now the leaves start clogging the gutters, you just can't win. Nice shot there Jer, Merry Christmas friend.
