This is the stretch of the Illinois River that crosses my parents place in southern Oregon. In the summer it's out family swimming hole, in the winter it has a stark beauty to it.

MK, freezing water already. This looks like a wonderful place to get away from it all, the 2nd photo is very nice and a pleasure to view.
