Hi

I took some time to make a selection of photos taken this year. The goal was not necessarily to pick up the best photos of this year, but at least getting photos from the good moments of this year.

Putting the slideshow together with ProShow Producer was pretty much straightforward. I hope I found the right balance between frame display time and overall length of the slideshow. I tried to refrain on the many effects as I would prefer to have the viewer looking at the photos rather than on the effects.

Very nice presentation and pictures.The pics seem to be a little on the soft side.Is that because of being viewed thru You Tube?--charliezap

I think it's safe to say that you HAVE found the right balance Dominique!
Beautiful photos, nice music and the slide duration and slideshow duration were spot on.

You get the best quality when watched directly under Youtube (instead of watching the embedded version here as it is slightly scaled down) and with 720p.

Oog: yes, I try to enter all the events I can in the region. My press card, while not giving access to all, does a good job in getting me in as accredited photographer. Also, using K-5, 645D and D3s do give me a pretty broad range of photography topics as well.

I think I will try to make such a slideshow each year. I should attend enough events to have plenty of photos to choose from.

Please do, I think it would be a great annual summary. You have also started me thinking about how I can showcase some of my images (and how I can take better ones!).
