Sigma 10-20 testdrive
Posted By: axl, 12-26-2007, 02:49 AM

Here are few shots which I took during testdrive of my X mas present. I'm absolutely in love with that lens, even if distortion is slightly bigger than I expected. And I forgot my gloves at home that day Enough talking.
Enjoy this frosty English morning....

Was it a morning or an evening trip? I vote for the evening option, but am not sure. Nice shots! Merry X-mas!

I'd bet on the morning option. Around 7:36 in the morning.

The photos make me want to go walkabout with my own 10-20

Is there a clock somewhere?
Or do you believe everything axl wrote? (maybe better)

They are morning shots. It was around 8am when they were taken. All 3 shots were run through Photomatix 1.3 during PPing. Time stamps on the files saying 26.12. - 7.36am +/- are not valid. They were creating while resizing and resaving files....

Really like that third shot. Big frosted leaves in a field of frosted grass, leading to a church, what lovely way to draw the viewer into the photo!

I love it. Fantastic. It was on my Christmas list but it didn't happen. Will try to have it by February.

Oh that lens looks like the Landscape Ticket... I have seen some really wonderful shots from it.

I really like the 1st one, but the second would be my favorite it the lower portion was cropped to the bottom of the fence line on the right hand side.
Could you do one like that just for me. In my head it is the perfect crop.

Cant wait to see more from this lens. It is high on my dream list.

The third shot is my favorite. The frost on the leaves really adds to the mood of the shot.

3rd one is my favorite. This is the lens that I am looking at buying next. Been able to take any more shots with it yet?
