Lots of fog and -8C today. These spikes we're all over the trees and dead flowers etc.

Tough to shoot these. Best results was to underexpose a stop to get some crystal detail and bring up in LR.

K10D, FA 100 F2.8 macro, slik 700 pro tripod, running shows, bare hands and Baliey's.

Dave, glad you got the image working - really glad I got to see it!! What a cool (no pun intended) natural phenomenon - and I really like the way you captured it.
