I wanted to go play with my new DA 16-45, so I took some time off from work to shoot a few pics of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. I have to say I really like my 16-45.

Number three is outstanding. Did you use a polarizer? I seldom use them any more, takes away too much of the natural spectral light and darkens the sky to the extrem and unnaturally. But it seems to work well when all the elements are saturated, like in your shot.

Frank, that lens is terrible! You should rid yourself of it right away...better yet, let me be a good samaritan and take it off your hands, I'll even pay for shipping!
All kidding aside nice shots and I too love the tower shot. Excellent job.

Thanks for your comments. No, I did not use a polarizer. I was extremely lucky, the sky was a nice dark blue at about 11am whan I took those shots.

You're right, the lens is terrible. I don't even think it is worth giving it away.

I am still trying to figure out how that seal got up there. That rock is nearly vertical at water level!!! I don't even know if I could get up there.

Agreeing with the rest, #3 is a great shot. The fact that you did not shoot center as so many people do, added value to the capture.

I noticed the seal as well and, as everyone knows, they're not camera shy.
