Peter, those lilies are stunning. Jimbo, I can see why that one is one of your favorites. Beautful shot. Yeatzee, that is one of my favorites of yours. The white spider and that gorgeous red background is a standout. Oren, who doesn't love mother and child photos? Carl, the sepia feeling of your beach scene is wonderful. Great captures all.

What is the typical turn around time for PPG nowadays? I submitted some 3 weeks ago and it is still in review...

Just logged in today to see that four (yes, FOUR) more of my pictures were accepted! I still have a few pending review, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for those too...

One of my favorite pictures. I'm glad this one made it.

Jim, I just love this one. No wonder its one of your favorites.
I'm going to try for landscapes like that. Do you think I could
get shots like that with a sigma 105mm 2.8 EX lens. I'm trying
to get an idea of the kind of landscapes I could shoot with it if
I buy one. What lens did you use for your shot.

A macro lens is kind of an odd lens to use for landscapes

You need a wide lens for images like the one he posted.

Susan, that floral is just the word you used in your text "heavenly". I would also add "ethereal".
Iceburg, wonderful animal shots , especially the lion. Mike F , great b&W floral.
You're all doing so great. Regards, Freddy

Yeatzee, I'm going to go out with my 50-200, set it at 105mm and see what kind of
shots I can frame. I'm totally in the dark about the lens, so I'll try to figure it out
with the kit lens. Thanks, Freddy

Thank you Freddy. I used my trusty 12-24. For Landscapes I use 12-24, 70-200 or the 50mm. It all depends on how I want to compose the image. Cheers bud. JIM

Jim, I think I'm going for the Pentax 16-45 f4 ED AL zoom. the price is great
and is has super reviews. Should be a good landscape lens for me, replacing the 18-55 kit lens. Freddy
