Posted By: Buddha Jones, 12-27-2007, 11:50 AM

Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

Thanks!

I see a lot I gave the thumbs up to. Fact is, all of them on this page I gave a thumbs up to.

And yes, freddy, that is a pileated woodpecker. We have one I've seen down here (way down south) but only rarely. He came in, in early spring but I missed him.
The Pileated woodpeckers nest in the forest near my home and are resident for the full year (I think) here. Very impressive birds! I still remember the first time I heard their call. Sounds just like Woody the Woodpecker.

Iris, I think you should post them all, that is a pretty insect, and the phone guy is priceless, nice job.
Thanks for the kind words. If you are really curious you can always take a look at my PPG-site, there are only 13 pics, so it wouldn't take much time

Wow Rense, the first two are very thought provoking, very good stuff. The second two bring the fly to a new level! Nice job

Wicked good BW flowers there Enoeske. The "crazy" one is called "Bee Balm" just as an fyi.
That damselfly with her eggs is just friggin' awesome!
Stunning work also Rense...that hairy back fly is especially excellent..

I got another in tonight. This is a Florida White, sulfur.

All those prior to mine in here lately, I've gave a thumbs up.

I need to find some new subjects. Lisa has almost 100 and I got three.
