Posted By: Buddha Jones, 12-27-2007, 11:50 AM

Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

Thanks!

a little surprised this photo made it because it is a bit simple, but i am happy no less.

Shot with my least expensive lens, a $15 Viv 28/2 (Kiron) that has a gummed up aperture and little bubbles in the glass. hmmmm.

Great shot Rense. Isn't that a Greater White fronted goose? Gave it a thumbs up.

Jim loved this shot, and gave it a thumbs up too.

Mike looks like you overcame the lenses problems, I liked this shot also. And gave it my thumbs up.

Jim, love the waterfall there, I spent the equivalent of 2 rolls or so on that fall and its nice to see another perspective.

Thought a wide angle shot was the way to go given the background. Cheers JIM

I know you check and double check for horizon tilt. That's why I was surprised this one looked off to me. Looking closer at this morning, I see what threw me off. It's the little bit of mountain? rising up on the left side just above the land. I need new glasses. Some things even in my photos are not right, then I post them here and everyone says it's in focus or straight. I'm using a pair of strictly readers, where further away objects I can see, but up close, I have to squint to see what is what. LOL
No worries Mar....I think it is the the hill in the background that's giveing the illusion of being off. It has happened to me before.

Excellent images being accepted. I see many I voted for so congrats to all.

Nice shooting, Jim, Rense.
Mike, I think they liked the simplicity of your flower shot and the comp was nice too. I immediately liked the shot. Freddy

Whoohoo! Finally got one in! my PPG Thanks for those thumbs up votes!
Just wanted to quote this, as I think it's the sort of image that makes me look at it time and time again.
The focus, light and slightly grainy feel are spot on.
I didn't see this when voting, but I would have definitely clicked on the green arrow, for sure.
