Some amazing images being accepted.....a huge congratulations to all the recent acceptance.
Axl (Peter) your PPG gallery is extremely inspirational, enjoyed every image there. I am wanting to branch into a style that I see in many of your images. Images that accentuate the geometry of objects, and as this is usually better achieved with monochrome most of yours are for such images. Images like the "british museum", "Tunnel vision", "wesfield" and "Oxford Street, but differently" to mention a few. I also see that you try to include an element/person as a focal point in certain shots that showcase interesting lines and curves.
Any advice on shooting such images...do you see interesting architectural elements and that happens to be such images, or are you seeking interesting patterns and shapes to shoot and if you see one is there a trick to choosing the appropriate focal length? Is there anything special to look out for in regards to lighting etc.....anyhow, the post is more to tahnk you for the inspirational work and secondarily on seeking any specific advice, if any.
PPG images are flying through the process now, much faster than at any time I can recall.
I'll share a recent acceptance of mine (Also, another one got into the premiere collection making it a total of three for me there), but this one is in the regular gallery, but I like it very much.
