Posted By: Buddha Jones, 12-27-2007, 11:50 AM

Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

Thanks!

I got some accepted, but as time has gone on it has become more and more an effort in futility. Shots I considered as good or better than those accepted were rejected. There should be some sort of decision feedback, albeit two words or less given the volume.

But there are truly some great pictures there for sure!

Your final one Ed?
Not submitting any more, or moving on from Pentax completely?
Anyway, liked that one from the start. Well done.

And my second from the soft rose series:

Keith, great pyramid shot, it looks even better in the ppg.

Ash, well done, with your FA100 macro?

Jimbo, beautiful owls! I'm jealous, I've been tromping all over different forests looking for owls, bt I did get a nice snake photo that made it in, not all bad.

Yep Tom, the classic FA 100 macro.
All the best in your future work Ed. Sad to see you leave, but do check in on us once in a while.

And a very nice one indeed Mike.

A B&W version of the closeup rose series made it through also:

You never know. I might be back soon and I may not.

I'll soon have the answer to "Is it me?" or "Is it the equipment?"

Just in the early stages of the switch, I can tell you that there are things that each has over the other.

Ciao`
With my recent experience with Pentax Cameras, I'd say that it probably isn't you.

Good luck.

I'd be curious about your experience and the differences. but, I suspect the fanboys would try and eat you alive if you tried to tell us.

She looked good the first time you posted her here.

I had no idea that "nudity" would be allowed into the Gallery.

interestingly, both photos were taken from exactly the same spot, aiming in opposite directions.
