Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) entries
Posted By: Buddha Jones, 12-27-2007, 11:50 AM

Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

Thanks!

As I look through this thread, I find that I am consistently voting YES on photos that end up being Mike Oria's (and not all of the GGB, though that long pano is one of the best out there).

Here's my second "approved in gallery" shot! Yay, me.

A few more sneaking in:

Isolated (DA 18-55 WR)

Kimodo dragon (DA 55-300)

Colourful street corner (DA 18-55 WR)

Thanks for the votes.

Loved that island shot - where do you find something like that? I also feel that the overcast pops it so much more than a blue sky would. Looks like the island is standing at the edge of the earth.

a few more for me

I haven't tried to get into the PPG in quite awhile. It didn't take long at all to get these shots in (and some rejected, naturally. ) But I'm always happy to see that some make it. These are all from a recent trip that included Turkey and Greece. 3 got in, here's 2 of them. Thanks for looking. (I guess standing directly in front of a moving street car to get the shot was worth it... ha!)

thanks so much, friends! rare conditions that evening, no wind at all, was very favorable for a long exposure pano from this spot in Sausalito, CA. very happy with the picture!

Yeah, it is a pedestrian bridge running under the bridge of a major artery. I shot it for a challenge with the theme "repetition".

Thanks! I loved that dog - he "adopted" me and I got some good shots of him showing me the island. Taken with my Sigma 10-20 - a fun lens to have. BTW, I live in SF but never get out to take pictures like you do - makes me ashamed of myself - but you're inspiring!

This cat looks like he's posing for me - but I was using my DA 55-300 at 300.

Thanks! It was my first time in Turkey - it was also a dream of mine to go there and I was not disappointed. Notice the crowd behind the street car? That's normal.
