Posted By: Buddha Jones, 12-27-2007, 11:50 AM

Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

Thanks!

Somebody probably hit Report Watermark instead of EXIF Data.
Does it mean they disqualified it, or does it means I am famous, or will I be rich?
Thanks, Pepe

I don't know what the process is. When the PPG first relaunched there were a lot of photos with watermarks, and watermarks are against the rules. I didn't vote on any photos for about 4 months, but when I started again the Report Watermarks button was there.

Just got onto this thread, and I see a lot of familiar work that I have voted on
Here are my shots that I have submitted to PPG, Not sure if its quite the challenge I was once lead to believe to get in there as I am yet to have a reject (although I only submit my absolute favorites). Anyway here are the entrants:

What is up with that mouse and cat?

Day 9 of 30 does it for me. Great work.
Cheers, when I took it I wasn't at all pleased with the result but It grew on me, and the others in Single in April challenge warmed to it so I thought it might be worthy.

Really like Day 5 of 30.
Thanks, it's actually my favourite shot of the bunch

I must have added a watermark to this one after submission

well there is a bit of a story... Our cat, Roxy, had found a mouse to play with.... [Explainitory photo not in PPG]

She had it pinned then there was a crack of thunder from a storm that was coming in that caused them to freeze just long enough to compose and get that shot off. It was the single biggest fluke moment shot of my life

I think this may have been the case because my photos do not have watermarks. Thanks,

One more approved, two more declined. It seems somewhat abstract nature scenes have a hard time being approved.
