I need to give my Adapt-a-Matic 105 a spin. My submission with the 21mm on an SV got rejected.
I have the Adaptamatic 105/2.5, that is the true gem of the bunch. The 105/2.5 Adaptall is good and can be used with the PkA, but the former is better in quality. It is very difficult to find nowdays.

I have some accepted here. Here are two of the most recent.

Some have asked how to submit pictures. I'd like to know more about the voting process. I understand a picture needs 80 votes, is that correct? 80 out of how many? If you get 80 votes and 400 rejections, will the picture still get in? Who does the voting?

I have never seen the requirements posted on how many votes are needed. I am guessing it is a majority of thumbs up with a certain number of votes required. I sometimes see pics withing 10 or 20 minutes in the Recently Accepted Category whether I vote thumbs up or down.

I went 5/5 this week and was shocked as well. Only on 1 other occasion have I had 5/5. I did go 4/4 once. I wasn't sure how this landscape at sunset image would do. I submitted it a day latter than the other 4 and it was also the first landscape category I have submitted.

Ken, what lens did you use for the Marina Bay Sands shot? There is some ugly CA on the left side. The right side looks fab, though.

Finally got the second century with this one:

And another one from my Dec/Jan trip to Hong Kong

I got two out of five rejected, which I think is a good sign (although I like both shots). Had some easy breeze throughs recently...

Hi Prieni, I'm using the Sigma 10-20. Don't think it's the CA as the lighting is not harsh & it was shot at very low iso.
I confirmed again with the original un-processed image, the red line exist, think it's the light shine from the red sun at the bottom (still rising) in between the building and the flyer.

It's a lovely shot, in terms of colours and composition, but I had noticed it too. I think it is CA. The building on the left has some distinct CA with red on the side closer to the sun and green on the left side of it. I am quite surprised by how soft it was considering it was shot at f8 so I am going to say there is some vibrations in there as well. Was it very windy when you took the shot?

well done cajun, I particularly like the second one.

On another topic, What is PPG's policy on Photoshopped images? There was a particular image that had a moon randomly in the sky, some how between the subject (a building) and what appears to be a mountain ridge behind it. I thought there was some rule on manipulation when I signed up, or am I wrong?

thanks Sir Chaos_Realm and I believe you are right, only enhancements made thru cam are allowed...

"Photographs should not be overly manipulated with filters and effects unless done in-camera and loaded to the in-camera effects category. Some dodging and burning to reveal an image is allowed, however, it is not acceptable to move around pixels or add or remove elements. Cropping is allowed."
