Posted By: Buddha Jones, 12-27-2007, 11:50 AM

Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

Thanks!

Latest three.

First one had already been in but the processing was pants so I deleted it from the gallery. Redone in LR4 and re-submitted.

Very nice, Mark. The last one is my favorite -- I really like the colors, tones and lines. What focal length was that at?

RE: the first image -- are you going to update your forum avatar now?

Done :-)

It was the DA*16-50 at 50. ISO 80, 30 seconds using the B&W ND110 to make all the passers by disappear and give some cloud movement. I liked the first light hitting the side of St Pauls and I was quite pleased the way it turned out. Split toned in LR4.

Some impressive shots since my last visit. I was particularly taken with Deimos' log and lake, Ken's Singapore sunset and Tomart's almost surreal first shot. l like that take on St Pauls Mark, I tried it once but there were too many people on the bridge and it was too bouncy for the long exposure. The lone tree is an improvement on a great shot.

I've had some approvals recently, here's a selection:

Back after a long break

I haven't tried to get anything into the PPG in a very long time, but thought I'd give it another try. These all made it in and one more is still being voted on.

mark lj --- love that first shot and the 3rd is one of my favorite places in the world - like the treatment of the photo.

Dr Orloff -- love the hedgehog. All excellent shots.

Some really nice work lately. Gorgeous photos.

Love that hedgehog shot, and the one of the moon low over the still seascape.

Great shots Mark and Dr Orloff. Nice shot of St. Paul's Mark. The last one you posted Dr Orloff is one of my favorites. Love the lighting. Nice series sealonsf. Love the misty, smoky look of the aspens. I think your chipmunk may be a golden mantle squirrel however. He is still a cutie.
