I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

It's a yound Lubber grasshopper. The young of a Lubber, which is a large grasshopper usually found in the south. I also have one of the adults in my ppg gallery.

How long have things been taking to get approved? I have 5 that will have been in the queue a month tomorrow.

Actually, the black is the young of the Eastern Lubber. I uploaded that on 4/4/15, the lizard was from 3/25/15. And both approved this week.

That can't be. My Lizard was up since March 23rd, and it just got approved yesterday. That's more than 30 days.

All of mine have been accepted 30 days (to the day) after submission. I just assumed they had a 30 day voting window.

I think it depends on how many members are voting. I've had them in for 6 weeks or more.

I think it is more a matter of number of votes reached than fixed voting period.
Getting 70% (or some other percentage) of "thumbs up" from the necessary number of votes results in getting approved - otherwise the photos are not included.

I'm not entering photos too often, but in the last 5-6 months I got an average of 1 month (or more) waiting time.

I know the discussion is that the standards seem to be pretty low, but I'm very happy I got my first attempt and approval.
