Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

OK Rense, where were you? I have been gone since May and am just not sure where the heck I am. Won't be back for months yet.

I saw that stunner of a leaf shot Tamia just this morning and thumbs-upped it! Congrats on the acceptance.

Great macros Rense and that blurry birch belongs framed and on a wall.

I remember voting "Yes" for a couple of those shots. I submitted my profile and photos over a week ago.

I just want my photos in there... it will be like my Christmas gift when it happens. I check every day to see if I am in.

Edit: I just read it took someone four weeks to get his or her photos approved. At least I know what to expect now.

I will also say, as a judge, some of those scenics involving water in the gallery (such as rivers and waterfalls) are just incredible photos. I have stared at some of them for 30 seconds.

Andrew, just so you know, your name won't be on the photos we vote on. And I waited a little over a month for my first one to get in.

I see several I voted on this week made it in.

Tamia, I didn't see that one though, wonder if Pentax moves them out when they do the final vote. Had I seen it, I sure would have voted on that leaf. That's an awesome shot.

I also wanted to ask if anyone sees any lines in the photos they're voting on. I have seen them twice, last night and tonight. They're not actually in the photos but seems like Pentax site might be extremely busy and the photos are slow to load for me. I have high speed cable internet so I know it's not because of my internet speed. Also, I don't see them here on this site, nor on my photos in my hdd.

Andrew, it can take quite a long time to learn the fate of your pictures. My first five or so were rejected. I think it took a month or more to see activity on my entries.

Thanks Mar. There are some on these pages which I never saw in the judging. I think that the speed with which the pictures pass through the judging process varies. Sometimes I won't be able to sign on for a couple of days and when I do get on, the pictures which are there are the same as when I last visited.

Never have noticed lines on the photos, but the load time is sometimes very slow.
