Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

I submitted my first photo to the Gallery on Friday, and was delighted to find it accepted this AM!

Congratulations, Mandi. The first acceptance is something special. And it is a good shot with lovely light, so well done! Let there be many more to follow.

Perhaps I'll get off the fence and submit a few more, nothing like positive feedback.

Actually there is. It's called critique and lets you see your photo through someone else's eyes. That someone wasn't at the scene and therefore has no emotional thoughts when looking at the picture. They can therefore analyse the photograph more objectively. And if they are honest (sometimes brutally honest) you can learn a lot from such critique (once you swallowed your pride and are ready to take on the critique). That then is the sort of feedback that is much more valuable.
But, hey, positive feedback still is the second best thing...

I notice you're from Woods Hole, anything related to oceanography?

And I love the photos I've seen here that have been accepted. Mike, your bridge photos are fantastic! Mandi, really scary photo. I like the ocean but not to be in it. I live five miles for the Atlantic Ocean and only been in it when a child, some 50 years ago.
