Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

This thread is the first time I heard of the Pentax Photo Galleries, so I went to have a look - since there are amazing shots posted here, both accepted and not. I saw one can search the PPG by camera and by lens, so I selected a K-30, (as I use), and a Pentax M 50 mm f/2 (again) ... Half a dozen images - which is half a dozen more than I expected. They were all by the same person too.

Anyway, as I sad, amazing photos in this thread; please keep them coming.

I tried the search with camera/lens combos that I personally use but none of my photos that were accepted ever popped up so I'm not really sure how accurate or up to date that search really is.

It all depends on when Tsuken searched with those specs. If before Ricoh bought out Pentax, it could be they changed the way search is done. Ricoh has changed a lot of things in PPG since they took over.

It doesn't automatically enter the correct lens. I always manually select the lens when submitting.

Yes, you are correct. I am now going back and manually entering the lenses for my shots. Quite tedious actually but I guess I should have been doing it all along. Funny how Lightroom automatically knows what lens I'm using but not Pentax.

That's what I've found too. I was wondering if I could (or indeed should) enter a non-Pentax lens into the Exif. Perhaps the PPG doesn't really want to advertise another brand (none of which were taken with a Pentax lens :-)).

As for that, the program I use keeps the EXIF data and even ID's my off brand lenses but uploading them to PPG, they still don't show as what they are.
