Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) entries
Posted By: Buddha Jones, 12-27-2007, 11:50 AM

Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

Thanks!

Lerolls, love your latest shots. The little confectionery is marvelous, and the antique knife is a total gem. What a great knife to hang on a wall on a wooden plaque. Awesome. Keep 'em comin'. Freddy

Nice shot, Agru. Well deserved!. Freddy

LeRolls, on that lemon shot. What did you use for a background, very intriguing. Freddy

Three more

I got three more in - I'm 4-for-4. I haven't submitted anything since 2008. I really like the first two, but I didn't think the third one would be accepted.

PENTAX : PENTAX Photo Gallery artist page

The one I didn't expect is the one that shows up first.

***I'm having problems posting flickr photos from my phone; I'll post later.

Thank you! I am also quite fond of it. I like the dark, moody, abstractness of your shot. Good tonality as well.

I found an old pizza pan in storage that had definitely seen better days. I tried to simulate the look of the bottom of an old wet metal garbage can. The idea behind the shot was that you can find beauty in the unlikeliest of places. I used the same pizza pan in the knife shot as well but just lit much more warmly. I just like how worn and battered it is, lots of character and texture. Thanks by the way!
