Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

I wonder if PPG is entering a "let's forget to evaluate images period again".

I have had two image "pending" since 2020/02/05 and one since 2020/02/12. Maybe people are just not judging any longer.

BUMP - As of tomorrow, I will have had two images waiting for approval for a long January - PPG is not on Ricoh's RADAR anymore since they have "done" the 100th Anniversary stuff? 🙄

Just got a batch of photos accepted at PPG. Took about a month to make it through the evaluation process (whatever that entails), so doesn't appear to be getting any quicker. Here's a link to my gallery.

An update:
I removed the three images that I put up in early February. Waiting six weeks is just a little ridiculous in my view. Yes, I do go to the site and "judge" images a few times a week.

Some of us, use Flickr and their rules are stated also that to post a photo here, it must link back to Flickr. So saying linking back to your gallery here is the same rule as Flickr's. And the reason Bubba added that piece in the rules.

Approved in less than 2 days. My theory is that the more photos you upload the longer it takes to move through the queue.

I had three images. They sat there for 6 weeks.

I deleted them and I will not post a link to my PPG gallery as that appears to "not follow the rules". If uploading three images over a week results in "too many in the queue" then there is something wrong.

As an aside, I have been "judging" images for about an hour a day for the last week and a half. I have never seen any of the images posted on these pages. I see out of focus birds, tilted landscapes, flowers, butterflies and mating dragon flies. A few children and the obligatory sad eyed dog.
