Posted By: Buddha Jones, 12-27-2007, 11:50 AM

Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

Thanks!

Thank you...I voted for your image above, one of the few images that I spent a lot of time just looking at, as I was voting.

Can you elaborate on how exactly you got that shot, was the vehicle moving? where were you standing, how is the driver not looking at you ?

If you took that shot from the side of the road as the vehicle was driving away, WOW!, what timing....

Saweeet!

I signed up and looks like one was worthy out of my seven haha

It's the same picture I got framed for my mothers xmas present so its quite fitting. I liked a few of my rejects more I think, no complaints though!

Sure.. If you look closely at the fisheye mirror section you can see my hand hanging on to the side of the truck..It was moving ( extremely slowly under 5 mph) for the parade. Thats why the driver is not looking at me. That was taken with my 50mm 1.4. We are not allowed on tailboards or side boards during duty, but in the parade, two firemen stand on the sides of the driver, and two on back waving, plus the truck stops frequently, so I was on and off during the parade. We let the kids and wives sit in the hosebed( we converted it for seating) during the parade. The truck doesn't go on calls, so its safe. But under normal conditions, on an in service engine or truck, everyone must be seated and belted in..standard SOP.

On my first try to get into the gallery I have one in

Already posted this pic a while back, and had good feedback from the guys here so I thought why not.

thanks for all those who voted

Here it is (minus the border and admittedly distracting emboss in ppg ofcourse).
