Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

Thanks!

My acceptance ratio is getting much better now. It is 3/3 this time, and it was much weaker before, with less than half being accepted. In the 6 months of careful submissions I've got 15 in there...the first three were the hardest.

This fifteenth one was taken with the Tamron adaptall 300 f 2.8, which I have since sold and I probably will never own another manual focus lens. I only had two hours of shooting with the lens, and am very proud to have shot one that is a PPG worthy photo...

I think the bottle is a great detail. This old man with chic, archaic clothing and medals from another age, with a modern day, consumerist bottle of soda.
Thank you Kevin. It was one of the fun things of this photo, although I didn't notice it when taking it. Too hectic. But at home I first wanted to clone it out, but decided to leave it where it was, because I loved it myself too ....

Congrats everybody on all of your recent acceptances! Nice work, and well deserved! It's been a good week for me too. I submitted three more hummingbird shots and all three were accepted.

Final Approach

I feel fortunate to have gotten these shots, since these little guys have moved elsewhere. Hopefully, more will discover my feeder this season.

I'm in shock. My first submission to the PPG was accepted!

Here it is.

Funny thing is, the client was not as impressed with the picture as others have been and only ordered a small print because her husband liked it. I was doing the baby's 3 month photos. As we finished the outdoor part of the session, the whole family was together and I spotted this perfect sky. I told them which way to turn, but other than that it was just a fast snap.

I didn't think I had any hope of getting in, but my husband told me I had to submit that one. And imagine my surprise upon seeing that it was accepted!
